About the Festival
THE FESTIVAL
For its second year, join the Akron Jewish community for an afternoon of fun for all ages, from babies to bubbies! This festival hopes to unite and bring the community together. Featuring a live concert, vendors, booths, food for sale, and children's entertainment, including a balloon man, inflatables, a juggler on stilts, and more!
This event is FREE of charge (Food for sale). RSVP is required!
This event is made possible by the generosity of the Berlin Family Foundation, Bob & Regina Cooper, and Jeff Miller.
CONCERT
The concert will feature the Rogers Park Band, America's Only Hassidic Folk Rock Band!
Rogers Park offers a fresh and exuberant new style to contemporary Hassidic folk and popular music, but with a few major additives:
Sincere adherence to major conceptual Hassidic Torah ideas, angelic blending of harmonic and soulful voices, creative rocking and easy-listening arrangements, and wise use of some great musicians, all adding up to the next big thing in Jewish music!
Rogers Park will be singing a mix of classical Jewish songs and their own compositions with inspiring and motivational messages.
FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE BAND
Joining Rogers Park will be the debut of the new Friendship Circle Band. The FC Band is a platform where teens, with and without disabilities, come together to form friendships while creating beautiful music. Formed in 2022, the band currently has 4 members across piano, drums, guitar, and vocals and is set to release their debut single "FC Anthem - I'm Gonna Shine My Light"
